Alana S. Podolsky is an associate on the credit research team within the Investment Research & Strategy department at Gurtin Municipal Bond Management. Ms. Podolsky is responsible for supporting the research activities of the team and conducting municipal credit rating surveillance on existing holdings. In addition, she aids in the publishing of research reports on a variety of municipal sectors inclusive of state and local governments, school districts, higher education, healthcare and housing, and essential service utilities, such as water and sewer systems and electric utilities.
Prior to joining Gurtin Municipal Bond Management in February 2019, she worked in a variety of positions for Oxford University Press, CARE USA, and BallotReady. Ms. Podolsky has also completed research on community colleges and educational opportunities for the Government Accountability Office.
Ms. Podolsky earned a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago.
