Brian J. Hannibal is a vice president in the Portfolio Management department at Gurtin Municipal Bond Management. Mr. Hannibal serves as a member of the Investment Committee and is responsible for conducting trades, investment strategy analyses, and helping manage the firm’s municipal strategies.
Prior to joining Gurtin Municipal Bond Management in April 2013, Mr. Hannibal worked for Eaton Vance Investment Managers as a portfolio management assistant in the firm’s municipal bond group. In this group, he worked with trading, credit research, and portfolio management on a wide range of duties that contributed to the management of both the firm’s mutual funds and separately managed accounts.
Mr. Hannibal earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in finance from San Diego State University, graduating with distinction. Mr. Hannibal is also a CFA® charterholder.
