David J. Conway is a vice president on the quantitative research team within the Investment Research & Strategy department at Gurtin Municipal Bond Management. Mr. Conway serves on the Investment Committee and is responsible for providing economic data analysis, and contributing to the quantitative aspects of Gurtin’s investment strategies.
Prior to joining Gurtin Municipal Bond Management in 2015, Mr. Conway was a teaching assistant at the University of California, Irvine while studying for his degrees.
Mr. Conway earned a doctoral degree in economics at the University of California, Irvine. His thesis, Essays on Monetary Policy and Financial Markets, focused on employing econometric models to explore the relationship between monetary policy and asset prices. Mr. Conway also earned a master’s degree in statistics from the University of California, Irvine and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Wake Forest University.
