Guy Kosov is an associate in the Portfolio Management department at Gurtin Municipal Bond Management. Mr. Kosov is responsible for supporting the firm’s primary investment strategies, performing an array of statistical research, from bond modeling and duration calculations to portfolio yield projections. In addition, Mr. Kosov monitors and reports portfolio performance.
Prior to joining Gurtin Municipal Bond Management in January 2019, Mr. Kosov was a risk transfer analyst in the reinsurance group at the California Earthquake Authority. Previously, he was a credit analyst at Bank of the West Agribusiness Headquarters, where he performed credit analysis of new and existing clients, monitored loan risk, and issued new loans.
Mr. Kosov earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Fresno Pacific University, graduating cum laude. He is a CFA® charterholder.
