Nancy Vo Hamada is a partner and head of operations at Gurtin Municipal Bond Management. In this role, Ms. Vo Hamada is responsible for coordinating and implementing large scale, cross functional firm-wide initiatives, and reviewing, assessing, and streamlining Gurtin’s internal operations. Ms. Vo Hamada also oversees the Client Service department and is responsible for interfacing with new and existing clients, including sophisticated investment advisory firms, to facilitate account openings, account maintenance, and money movement/treasury services, daily reconciliation of accounts, and maintaining relationships with custodians utilized by Gurtin’s clients.
Prior to joining Gurtin Municipal Bond Management in 2008, Ms. Vo Hamada worked as a Client Service associate as part of The Gurtin Group at Morgan Stanley. In this role, she interacted with clients daily and was also responsible for quarterly and ad-hoc reporting.
Ms. Vo Hamada earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California, San Diego.
